New Delhi, Jul 20 (PTI) Silver costs dropped Rs 219 to Rs 38,075 for every kg in prospects exchange today as purchasers trimmed their positions following frail prompts from worldwide market.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for conveyance in September was exchanging lower by Rs 219, or 0.57 for each penny, to Rs 38,075 for every kg in a business turnover of 395 parcels.

The metal for conveyance in December excessively lost Rs 197, or 0.50 for every penny, to Rs 38,496 for each kg in a business volume of 4 parts.

Internationally, silver was exchanging 0.07 for each penny down at USD 15.27 an ounce in Singapore.

Marketmen ascribed the fall in silver costs in prospects exchange to a powerless pattern in valuable metals abroad as dollar moved close to a one-year high, disintegrating interest of the valuable metals as a place of refuge.
